Responsible for preparing feasibility presentation material for English Partnerships when the site was being considered. Appointed as Lead Consultants for the external works with an overall co-ordination role.
The brief was to provide an attractive but ordered and functional environment with segregation of pedestrian and vehicular movements wherever possible. Due to the large scale of the development (55acres) the external uses have been sited to minimise pedestrian travel distances to the work place.
The scheme comprises a large informal lake to the frontage with a smaller more formal lake nearer to the main entrance, car parking, service yards concentrated to the rear of the development, a formal outdoor â€˜functionâ€™ area within a large internal courtyard.
