Howbury Park SRFI

The 57.4 hectare site is located adjacent to Crayford Marshes on the boundary between Greater London and Kent.

BCA were appointed to carry out the LVIA and concept design for an outline planning application for up to 184,500sq/m or rail-served warehouse distribution floor space. We were also appointed as a professional witness at the subsequent appeal.

The sites location within Greenbelt and adjacent to highly sensitive and designated landscape placed a high emphasis on the potential landscape and visual effects and the proposed landscape mitigation. The interface between the site and adjacent sensitive landscape has been carefully considered in the master-planning of the site.
